Jokers Fortune Quest operates as a branching narrative engine where every decision point presents 2 to 4 distinct paths forward. The game tracks your resource pool consisting of three critical values: Luck influences probability outcomes and can unlock hidden opportunities, Health represents your life force with quest failure triggering at zero, and Fortune serves as your earned currency accumulated through strategic risk-taking and wise choices.
The Hall of Fortune uses a deterministic randomness system where your Luck stat modifies outcome probabilities without guaranteeing success. Each encounter calculates potential results based on current resource levels, previous choices made during the playthrough, and weighted randomization influenced by your Luck value. Version 2.0 introduces the complete six-ending framework with three victory conditions, two defeat states, and one neutral outcome. The game tracks all decision nodes across multiple playthroughs via persistent statistics including total choices made, gold earned across all runs, and a discovery counter showing which endings you have personally unlocked. The leaderboard system compares your best single-run gold score against other players globally.
The Hall of Fortune offers six completely unique conclusions to your quest. Three victory scenarios reward different playstyles: cautious accumulation, aggressive risk-taking, and balanced strategy. Two defeat conditions emerge from resource depletion or catastrophic single choices. One neutral ending exists for those who walk away at the perfect moment. Each ending features unique narrative closure and unlocks permanent tracking in your statistics panel.
Every encounter presents between two and four viable action paths. Choices range from helping strangers for unknown rewards to risking your entire Fortune pool on high-stakes gambles. The game never signals which option is objectively correct because consequences depend on your current resource state, accumulated Luck value, and narrative context from previous decisions made during this specific playthrough.
Manage three interconnected resources throughout your quest. Luck affects probability calculations for random events and can reveal hidden dialogue options or secret paths. Health depletes through poor choices or failed gambles with instant game-over at zero. Fortune accumulates as your score and unlocks certain high-value choices that require minimum Fortune thresholds to attempt.
Your Quest Statistics panel records comprehensive data across all playthroughs: total games played, victories achieved by ending type, defeats suffered, neutral endings reached, cumulative choices made across all runs, total gold earned lifetime, best single-run gold score, and a discovery tracker showing which of the six endings you have personally unlocked with completion ratio displayed as achieved over total available.
The branching narrative structure ensures no two playthroughs follow identical paths even when attempting similar strategies. Random event variations, different Luck-influenced outcomes at identical decision points, and the six-ending variety create genuine replay incentive. The statistics system rewards multiple runs by tracking your global progress while maintaining competitive best-score leaderboards.
The mystical Fortune Wheel appears at critical quest junctures offering high-risk, high-reward spins. Wheel segments contain varying fortune amounts, health penalties, and rare Luck boosts. Your current Luck stat slightly weights favorable outcomes without eliminating risk.
